Free Income Tax Clinics
Since opening our doors in 2003 WAGNER ACCOUNTING LIMITED has been pleased to offer, each year, our popular free income tax clinics. These clinics, offered in March and April, provide each registrant a private, thirty-minute meeting with a tax planning and preparation professional. Attendees are given the opportunity to:
- Ask questions about their specific tax issues.
- Seek assistance with a Revenue Canada matter.
- Ask questions regarding how to complete their own tax return.
- Have an accountant review their tax return, which they have already completed.
- Shorter tax returns are completed on the spot, time permitting.
These free clinics are designed for those who may not normally have access to professional accounting services such as:
- Seniors living on a fixed income.
- Students on tight budgets.
- Individuals having limited financial means.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party
Our firm has been pleased to be a sponsor and participant of the Victorian Order Of Nurses (VON) Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Each year this benefit event provides a fun-filled afternoon.
Since 1897, the VON has been providing nursing care for the residents of Greater Halifax. Today, VON provides visiting nursing, wellness and health promotion clinics, and a wide variety of volunteer outreach services for the community of HRM.
VON Bowl-a-Thon
Our firm enjoys participating in this fundraising event. We wish to thank our clients who have generously supported us by bowling on our two teams and/or by contributing pledges.
Tax Session for New Immigrants
Also offered by our firm has been a free income tax general information session at the YMCA Newcomers Centre. Organized in conjunction with YMCA staff, this session was specifically prepared for their clients, who are recent immigrants to Canada. In addition to the initial information session, participants return for free individual meetings to discuss their specific tax situations.
